I have just seen on the internet/news a report of a casualty that involved my son/daughter’s unit. How do I find out if my child is okay?
[8/23/2006]

Please, contact the Rear Detachment Commander for your Soldier’s unit. If you do not have the Rear Detachment Commander’s contact information you can call the appropriate Military Installation Army Community Service, give them your Soldier’s unit address and they should be able to give you the unit telephone number for that Rear Detachment.

I am trying to find a family member who is serving in the Army. How can you help? I do not know the location where the Soldier is serving.
[8/23/2006]

Due to the Privacy and Security Act of 2001, the Army is no longer a locator service. The Army Well-Being Liaison Office can attempt to e-mail the Soldier as long as the Soldier’s full name is given (first, middle, last). Our office cannot confirm receipt or response of an e-mail to a Soldier, but we can assure you that an e-mail attempt will be made to the Soldier the same day as the request is made. Contact the Army Well-Being Liaison Office at 1-800-833-6622 for further assistance.
